I've been working on a list for Michaelie of historical fiction for ancient history for the first half of next year. Thanks for sharing these – I had remembered a couple of the titles you showed me the other day, but now I can check them all out as a starting point for figuring out history for the second half of our school year.
@candace: I enjoyed it too. I want the kids to feel like historical people were just that – people. Catherine, Called Birdy does that very well.
