Perry is down almost 10% of his birth weight. I suspect he has the same nursing issues as Clementine, Gloria and Abby – mild tongue tie and high palate. I've gone from "eh, he'll nurse when he's hungry" to active management. That means every two hours, buddy, I don't care how sleepy you are. That can ebb off when he's gaining steadily. Right now he just gets so tired nursing because he has to work harder. (My breasts have seemed unusually full also. He's just not transferring milk effectively.) I've handled this before, I can do it again. Get big and strong little man! #normalizebreastfeeding
