Today we learned that Gloria is missing two permanent teeth. The dentist told us that about 5% of the population have tooth agenesis not including wisdom teeth (which is more common.) It probably won't cause any problems, but it's kinda cool.

Book recs for Gilbert? He's not quite twelve. I'm looking for well-written, high interest books for middle grades with protagonists worth emulating. He's very fond of graphic novels, which is fine, but I'd like to lengthen his attention span to meatier stuff. #danceformeinternets
