Poor Gloria is feeling genuinely terrible today. It's not pain, though she is in some discomfort. She is going back and forth from anger to weepiness, with some normal moods in between. I'm pretty sure it's a reaction to the hydrocodone – no more of that, she says. She'd rather hurt! (My dad and my brother both have bad mood reactions to codeine.)

Gloria waiting to check in for surgery. She's all done now and on the way home with Sean. I'm told it went well and she's all pinned together. This time it was a trauma surgeon who set it, not just the regular orthopedist, so she leveled up. Lord willing, she'll heal straight and true!

Bad news on the arm – too much drifting. This was today's x-ray, and apparently if it's not redone it will heal, but crooked and her left arm will be shorter. So, tomorrow it gets re-set, with pins. Third time's a charm, one goes.
