Double Perry because this is exactly how my dad looked while he was sleeping this afternoon. Little babies and little old people are so similar. My dad looked like a little baby chick, all fluffy hair and whiskers, snoring gently. Then he'd wake up a bit, smile, and doze right off.

My 92 year old father, Wirt, was admitted to the hospital yesterday with acute myeloid leukemia and is not expected to last much more than a week. He's not in pain, just very tired and sleeping a lot. We are greedily soaking up the little time we have left with our amazing Grandad: beloved father of five, grandfather of twenty, and great-grandfather of five! What a great run, Dad. We love you so much. #wlhjr

Wait wait wait… Can it be? It IS! THE SEPTIC IS SEMIFUNCTIONAL. Some guys came out with a camera on a long probe and went all Dirty Jobs on it, and found the septic tank! The act of finding it cleared out much of the accumulated debris and we think we can limp along to Tuesday, when the whole tank will be cleaned out.
