When did he get so little kid? He was so small. Today he enjoyed the beautiful day and played outside for a long time with some sisters. He talks, runs, jumps, sings, has Opinions, and makes us all so happy.

Just hanging out with Dorothy and Mal. The big kids are reading or doing Teaching Textbooks or possibly still sleeping though I will be awakening the last slugabeds soon. Clementine is really mad that I won't let her pour lemonade on her toys, and Peregrine is watching a Mario 64 playthrough while he acts it out with a plastic pig. #gleesoneclectic

The years-old shelving is newly fascinating when moved ten feet east. I'm going to put cloth diapers on top, toys, blocks, and sturdy books on the other shelves. This makes room for the second BILLY and the massive world map I've been wanting to put up.

Ooh, pretty. That's the smoke from the washing machine that just broke hanging in the air. Sigh. I hope the service guy can come soon. In the meantime I bought a mop bucket with a wringer. I don't mind hand washing laundry, it's the wringing that kills me. Also so glad the dryer works because otherwise I'd have to hang indoors.
